II International Humanitarian Forum “Civil Initiatives of the Regions of the 60th Parallel” was closed in Yugra.

About 500 participants from 17 regions of Russia, as well as international experts from 9 countries of the world arrived for a two-day forum.

Russian and foreign experts spoke at 12 venues: they conducted seminars, workshops, discussions. The program of the Forum included round tables, working and discussion areas, educational seminars, master classes, case studies, meetings with NGOs, intellectual workshops. The participants of the large-scale international forum exchanged experience, communicated, argued, talked about new approaches in supporting civil participation in making key decisions, and also identified the best civil initiatives.

“The forum for the Autonomous Okrug is a unique event. He for the first time united civil activists, representatives of the expert community of 17 subjects of the Russian Federation and 9 countries of the world. Here, for the first time, the district case-management championship for NGOs was held, which demonstrated the high level of competence of our NGO leaders, “Gennady Bukhtin, First Deputy Governor of Ugra, noted in his welcoming address.

One of the main areas of the Forum was the “Open Government: New State Governance”. Federal experts, as well as representatives of the regions, who presented best practices in this direction, took part in its work. Federal experts and representatives of the subjects of the Russian Federation discussed the role of the Open Government, its tools and tasks of information and analytical support of civil initiatives, technology of strategic planning, practice of project management of open regions, and made their proposals to the federal standard of openness. In addition to the standard of openness, the meeting participants discussed the open data and their role in the processes of informatization and digital transformation,

In addition, the business component of the forum included business meetings, the exchange of experience on grant support for civic initiatives, round tables on the formation of a strategy for the further development of the forum.

On the second day of the key event in the world of civil initiatives, 8 master classes were held.

Let us note that the Humanitarian Forum “Civil Initiatives of Regions of the 60th Parallel” is the first strategic, humanitarian, discussion and educational platform. The objectives of the event are to promote the development of civil society and the formation of a unique international humanitarian platform for interaction of science and practice on issues of civic participation in the development of the regions of the Arctic and the North.

As a result of the forum, a resolution was adopted. The document will be posted on the official website of the forum.
