BRICS International Forum Embarks on a Indo-Russian Youth Focussed Mission Taking forward their resolution to strengthen youth tie-ups and promote bilateral cooperation between BRICS nations, the International Federation of Indo Russian Youth Clubs and the Russian Union of Youth; pioneer organisations of the BRICS International Forum organised a three-day India-Russian Youth Forum held on March 25 to 27, 2015 at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture (RCSC), New Delhi.

The main areas of discussion were exploring new dimensions of Russian and Indian youth participation in diverse spheres like promoting business ties between the two nations, cultural exchanges and service sector training to generate employment in both countries. Chairman of the Russian Union of Youth Pavel Krasnorutskiy headed the Russian delegation and entered into an agreement with India represented by Purnima Anand, President of the International Federation of Indo-Russian Youth Clubs to develop and support youth cooperation in the field of education, science, culture, sports, tourism, public work, employment on March 25, 2015.

The Forum’s main objective was to initiate business ties between the two nations and for that end a few entrepreneurs from Russia made presentations about their products. Samolyuk Maxim, CEO of LLC Tekhno-alliance introduced his innovative new product, Aqua Neutral, a water purifying solution in the form of a small sachet that does not leave any residue or chlorine and can be used for residential purpose. Pavel Meshkovo, introduced his product, an organic fertilizer Humistim which increases soil yield by up to 40 per cent. It also helps normalise the biological processes in the upper layers of soil. Another young entrepreneur, Pavel Meshkovo, CEO of LLC FITOPANACEA talked about his products Endonorm and Dihydroquercetin. Dihydroquercetin is one of the best antioxidants available in the world and is manufactured from products only available in Russia.

The Forum that saw entrepreneurs from both countries describe their projects from the field of medicine, herbal healthcare and water purification and also invited collaborations for expanding their market in the partner country. Delegates from both the countries lauded the initiatives taken by the Forum and expressed hope that the association will work to strengthen the longstanding and time-tested partnership between India and Russia.

The Forum was organized by the Russian Union of youth (RUY) together with the International Federation of the Indian-Russian youth clubs; pioneer organisations of the BRICS International Forum with the support of Russian centre of Science and culture and Russia Beyond the Headlines. Taking forward their resolution to strengthen youth tie-ups and promote bilateral cooperation between BRICS nations, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Russian Union of youth and the International Federation of the Indian-Russian youth clubs; pioneer organisations of the BRICS International Forum to to develop and support youth cooperation in the field of education, science, culture, sports, tourism, public work and employment. The youth wing of the Indian Association of Russian compatriots took part in Russian-Indian Youth Forum, which took place on 25 March, 2015.
