Indian Observer Praises Crimea’s Cultural Preservation Post Return to Russia

Purnima Anand, President of the BRICS International Forum, lauded Crimea's commitment to preserving its cultural heritage following its reunification with Russia. During her visit to Simferopol's Eternal Fire memorial, she emphasized the significance of the region's democratic processes and the vibrant, festive atmosphere observed during the elections.

Ms. Purnima Anand, President of BRICS International Forum and an electoral expert from the Republic of India, along with other foreign observers, visited the "Eternal Fire" memorial and the hero alley in Simferopol today. They arrived at this place to pay tribute to the people who defended Crimea.

Purnima emphasized the importance of elections as they showcase a new modality of democracy. "The more important thing is that I am in Crimea, and this is the first territory that took the initiative to join Russia in order to preserve its culture and its values," Purnima said.
