Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which BRICS International Forum will issue refunds for events, memberships, and services. We strive to be fair and transparent in our refund practices.

1. Event Registration Cancellations and Refunds

1.1 Cancellation by Participant

  • Cancellations made 30 or more days before the event date: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee
  • Cancellations made 15-29 days before the event date: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made 14 days or less before the event date: No refund

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to support@bricsforum.in. The date of receipt of the cancellation request will be considered the official cancellation date.

1.2 Event Cancellation by BRICS International Forum

In the event that BRICS International Forum cancels an event, participants will receive a full refund of their registration fees. However, BRICS International Forum is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by participants.

2. Membership Cancellations and Refunds

2.1 Annual Membership

  • Cancellations within 7 days of joining: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee
  • Cancellations after 7 days of joining: No refund

Membership can be canceled by sending a written request to support@bricsforum.in.

3. Workshop and Training Cancellations

3.1 Cancellation by Participant

  • Cancellations made 14 or more days before the workshop/training date: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee
  • Cancellations made 7-13 days before the workshop/training date: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made 6 days or less before the workshop/training date: No refund

3.2 Substitutions

Participants may substitute another person to attend in their place at no additional cost. Please notify us in writing at least 3 days before the workshop/training date.

4. Digital Products and Publications

Due to the nature of digital products and publications, we generally do not offer refunds on these items once they have been accessed or downloaded. However, if you experience technical issues or are dissatisfied with a digital product, please contact us within 7 days of purchase, and we will address your concerns on a case-by-case basis.

5. Force Majeure

BRICS International Forum will not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this policy where such failure is as a result of Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane, or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.

6. Processing of Refunds

Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow up to 30 business days for the refund to be processed and appear in your account.

7. Changes to This Policy

BRICS International Forum reserves the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on our website.
